We are looking for an IT Vulnerability & Patch Management Technical Analyst to support vulnerability remediation across a legacy on-premises infrastructure environment.
In this role, you will act as a quality and control function for vulnerability remediation activities. You will also support the preparation of risk exception information where vulnerabilities cannot be remediated within the expected timeframe. This includes gathering input from technical teams and application owners, structuring the required justification and preparing the necessary information for customer approval.
The role includes regular reporting on vulnerability remediation quality, progress, overdue items and escalation topics. You will prepare clear status views for internal IT management, the Head of IT and customer stakeholders for the applications under the team’s maintenance responsibility.
Primary Functions and Tasks:
Monitor vulnerabilities identified through the Dashboard.
Follow up remediation activities with OS, middleware and application maintenance teams.
Validate the quality and completeness of patching or remediation evidence.

Support escalation management towards IT leadership and customer stakeholders.
Maintain structured tracking of remediation progress, open risks, exceptions and blockers.
Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability remediation governance and reporting.

We are looking for:
Experience in IT operations, infrastructure, IT service management, cybersecurity operations or technical governance.
Good understanding of vulnerability management and patch management processes.
Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure and legacy application environments.
Ability to understand remediation actions across OS, middleware and application layers.
Experience working with dashboards, trackers, reports or operational control processes.
Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 tools.
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence or similar tools is an advantage.
Structured, analytical and detail-oriented working style.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to challenge remediation quality in a constructive and professional way.
Comfortable preparing reports and escalation material for management and customer stakeholders.
Good written and spoken English.
