In addition, our team develops integrated front-end and back-end applications using the Power Platform and Azure services, ensuring intuitive, mobile-friendly access to business applications and end-to-end process integration across the Microsoft ecosystem.

Primary Functions and Tasks: 

As a Cloud Security Consultant at BearingPoint, you will join an international and fast‑growing cyber security practice, delivering end‑to‑end security services to clients around the world. You will work on complex, high‑impact engagements and act as a subject-matter expert across multiple domains of cyber security and cloud architecture.

Location: Romania

Depending on the project, your responsibilities may include one or more of the following areas:

Cloud & Infrastructure Security

• Perform security and risk assessments for cloud (Azure / AWS) and on‑premise environments, including network, software, and infrastructure components.

• Design, architect, and integrate cloud security solutions aligned with best practices and client requirements.

• Provide advanced technical consultancy on the security of software, networks, infrastructure, and cloud services.

Security Governance & Risk Management

• Conduct Information Security Management System (ISMS) reviews and assessments based on relevant standards.

• Lead or contribute to the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of security management systems.

• Develop, review, and maintain information security policies and supporting documentation.

• Ensure alignment between technical implementations and business processes, security requirements, and compliance obligations.

Strategic Advisory & Architecture

• Advise clients on industry best practices, secure design principles, and architectural approaches for cloud and hybrid environments.

• Translate client challenges and requirements into actionable security proposals and solution designs.

• Conduct research on emerging cyber security trends, new products, and market opportunities.

Continuous Learning

• Maintain and continuously expand your knowledge through training, certifications, and hands-on learning across cloud security, infrastructure, governance, and emerging areas like AI-driven security.

We are looking for:  

• Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.

• Strong technical background in Cyber Security, Networking, Infrastructure, and Information Technology.

• Solid knowledge of Azure Security Services, Network Security, Cyber Security principles, Load Balancers, and cloud-native security capabilities.

• Good understanding of operating systems, networks, file systems, and databases.

• Ability to design secure architecture solutions and interpret complex technical environments.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity industry trends and the evolving threat landscape.

• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to translate business needs into technical deliverables.

• Strong communication skills (written and oral), presentation abilities, and stakeholder management.

• Proficiency in English (German or French is an advantage).

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
