Primary Functions and Tasks: 

• Contributing to SAP S/4HANA projects and developments as a lease accounting expert focusing on IFRS 16.

• Collecting business requirements, preparing functional design and configuring system.

• Preparing and implementing test scenarios, supporting end-user testing.

• Preparing and conducting user training.

• Planning, supporting/executing data migrations and other cutover activities.

• Providing user support after go-live (hyper-care) as well as handover activities for the support organization.

• Developing concepts for optimization of the FI processes in collaboration with the operating department

• Reach and achieve project aims and outputs.

• Contribute to increased productivity and motivation of the team.

• Communicate closely with the ABAP development team.

Build professional relationships with clients, management and team members to ensure delivery of proposed solutions.

We are looking for:  

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Lease Accounting and/or with one of the following modules: RE-FX, SAI, LAE, RAR

• Minimum 1 year experience with S/4HANA

• Functional/ technical proficiency with at least one full-cycle SAP implementation

• 4+ years of industry/consulting experience - adept at translating business requirements into technology-enabled solutions for clients

• Experience with IFRS 16 or IFRS 15 accounting and reporting

• Good understanding of other SAP FI modules; GL, AP and AR

• Good understanding of finance processes, particularly fixed assets and lease accounting processes

• Experience in facilitating workshops to collect business requirements or identifying gaps, issues, and work around solutions

• Team player with exceptional communication skills

• Fluent English required; German language knowledge is an advantage

• Available to travel for an estimated of 1 week/quarter (up to 50% if requested by the client)

• SAP FI/CO Certification on S/4HANA Cloud (Privat or Public)

• Understanding of logistic integration into accounting

• SAP CO module

• SAP Authorizations understanding

• SAP Fiori apps in FI area

• SAP S/4HANA for Central Finance

• Experience with managing and mentoring junior level consultants

• Experience in pre-sales and project proposals

• Lead application functional team or sub-team.

• Experience and good understanding of FI/CO integrations with logistics, particularly with MM and PS
