Our Shared Services Center provides a broad area of services: finance and HR related, account and segment support, cockpit and reporting, sales and marketing campaigns, research and presentations, accelerators, customer experience management, data government, as well as other functions. 

As a team member in the Infrastructure Finance department, you will strengthen our team in the areas of order management and controlling. . The position requires teamwork in a collaborative work environment and ensures that many internal stakeholders, such as engagement teams, other finance departments and the management are optimally supported in a timely manner with high-quality information in business decisions. Project management, assessment of engagement economics, reporting for current and future financial performance, identification and management of risk exposure, but also accounting are some of the diverse topics that we take care of in our international team.

Primary Functions and Tasks: 

• Carrying out the monthly or quarterly evaluation of our international customer projects in the area of revenue recognition, work in progress / accounts receivables, cost of sales, subcontractor costs, project hours.
• Classification and assessment of our customer projects according to the applicable international and local accounting regulations (IFRS and HGB)
• Carrying out ongoing controlling of our customer projects by analyzing plan/actual deviations and cross-project comparative analyses
• Creation of ad hoc reports and presentations and monthly analyses
• Support for current projects and in day-to-day business (e.g., preparation of training materials, implementation of new working methods, continuous process improvements)
• Support in the area of forecasting
• Communication and coordination with other BearingPoint locations around the world and our near-shore shared service center

We are looking for:  

• German and English advanced, mandatory
• Successfully completed studies in economics or a comparable course
• At least 7 years of professional experience in the field of financial analysis and controlling or in auditing
• Well-founded knowledge in the area of accounting according to IFRS 15 and HGB, in particular for revenue recognition the realization of sales
• Well-founded IT knowledge, particularly good user knowledge of Excel and SAP FI/CO/SD
• Independent work within our team
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Structured approach, ability to work in a team, creativity and communication skills
